Skull & Bones Fraternity

Now that the primary elections are in full swing everyone and his brother is trying to tell others whom to vote for, sometimes because they really believe in their candidate, others simply because of their own particular agenda or are planting messages in an attempt to either benefit their candidate or discredit the opposing ones. That’s part of the game and I’m sure we’re all used to it.

However, a few days ago, I received an email (in response to my opinion that Edwards should quit due to his low numbers) with a twist. The sender was not talking about issues or personalities, instead it tried to make the case that, no matter who we vote for, all candidates (except the one she prefers of course) are part of a great conspiracy originated in the infamous “Skulls & Bones” Fraternity at Harvard.

“Why are Democrats blowing this election? We are entering the world of "Quotas." Edwards was the VP from 2004. Kerry-Edwards were ahead after the first debate. Anyone claiming that Kerry failed to respond to the "Swiftboat" attacks is wrong. Kerry was ahead. After the first debate, Bush had a Black Box and Nancy Pelosi called Kerry "Lerch." Impeachment was taken off the table. Clinton took over Kerry's campaign and the man was suffering from a heart attack. Somebody injected the CBS AWOL documents that were forged and the Swiftboat attacks came back. When the documents failed, Kerry looked like a fraud. Edwards kept running because we had the strategy in place. Kerry fired his team and the wheels came off. Nobody running a serious campaign would fire his staff so late in the game. Kerry and Bush are from Harvard. Mary Beth Cahill was the manager who got fired. She worked at Harvard. She joined Hillary's team. Kerry endorsed Hillary. Obama is from Harvard. Obama decided to run and he's sucking up the money from the anti-clinton wing. Why is it time for Edwards to quit? He's the only one fighting for us. McCain and Kennedy tried to push amnesty on America. Everyone is linked to Kennedy except Edwards. Everyone is linked to that fraternity. That's the status quo. Edwards is fighting for us!”

What do you think? Paranoia? Half truths? Or are we entering and Orwellian World?
